Rylee is continuing to become more independent. She wants to do everything all by herself- she wants to sit on her own, crawl on her own, play on her own- everything! But, she always wants Ryan or I close. And if were close to her, but not looking at her, she makes sure to get our attention so she can show us how happy she is by herself. And not with a sweet "hi mommy look at me sitting" or "hey daddy watch me". Instead, she lets out the highest/loudest/scariest squeal she can. And the second we turn around in a panic, she just laughs her little head off!
She has been spending a lot more time on the floor. Here are a few pictures of her proudest moments so far.

our rylee bear: September 22, 2010
Rylee came out to cheer me on at my soccer game earlier this week. My FIL was there to take pictures and he got some SUPER cute ones of Ry Girl on the sidelines. How adorable is her little bear outfit my MIL picked up? It was perfect for keeping her warm. Okay, enough talking, here are a few pictures.
PS rylee started crawling last night- can you believe it?!

Swinging Baby: September 9, 2010
On most of my days off, I start the morning with a jog with Rylee in her stroller, a stop at Starbucks and a peaceful walk home while Rylee sleeps. But, today I thought we might just stop off at the park on our jog. I put Rylee in one of the swings and she had a blast!
She didn't quite know what to think of it at first and was more interested in staring at the baby who was swinging next to her (go figure). She slid back & forth in the swing a few times which she really didn't like (and which was likely my fault. this mama needs to work on her swing pushing skills!). But once we both got the hang of it, she was having the time of her life.

No Sleeeeeep: 9.8.10
Eating and sleeping are becoming a bit more difficult as Rylee gets older. Not that she doesn't want to eat or sleep, but everything in the world around her seems to be more interesting than life's necessities.
Over the weekend we went to a BBQ at G&G Andridge's house. Rylee was so into hanging out with all her family, she didn't realize she probably needed a nap! I took her into the guest room and laid with her on the bed trying to convince her that a nap would do her little body good. But even the new scenery of the bedroom was enough to make her forget about sleeping. Just as I was about to give up, Rylee spotted her birthday present in the corner. I couldn't resist!
Here are a few pics of Rylee playing with her present with her cousin Nate. I was using my camera phone, which explains the photo quality.
