Today Rylee & I joined a little bible study group. They have childcare which was a major reason why we signed up- the girl craves socialization. When I first dropped her off, they told me she would likely be in the "baby" room. I told them she would probably fit better in the Toddler room, but since she wasn't walking yet, they were worried she would get trampled by the "big" kids. I took her into the baby room which had baby stuff like rocking chairs and swings and saucers. The toddler room, with slides and play houses and loud noisy toys, looked a lot more like Rylee's style but whatev.
Anyway, when I went to pick her up guess where she was? The Toddler room.
Let me give a little background before I get too deep into the story. We've been trying to teach Rylee a bit of sign language. So far we're just working on "all done" and "more". She's got all done down pretty well. All it requires is holding your forearms up and rotating your hands in and out.
So when I go to get Rylee, I see a little girl sitting in a car. Rylee is essentially trying to hijack her. Do you know what that little girl did to MY daughter? She used both her arms and shoved her to the ground!! Initially I was a little pissed that no one scolded that girl. But when I saw Rylee roll over, sit back up, look at the little girl, and do the sign for "all done" I could hardly contain myself!! Hahaha. I really, really hope that reading this story was as funny as seeing it happen because I can hardly stop laughing just thinking about it!
Anyway, I know you guys would probably get a little fiesty if I didn't post any pictures with the blog, so here you go!
I am dying!!!!! Good for Rylee to tell that girl that she was done with her! ha! That's my lil Goddaughter. Her fairy outfit is amazing and I hope she wears it next time I see her.

that is HILARIOUS! i love how you described it, i can totally picture her doing that. we'll be doing something with emrie that we think is super fun for her like dancing with her or singing to her or something & she'll start signing 'all done'. it's so funny (& a little insulting :) ha.
